This article is very emotional. Before I came to US, I didn't really realize how much things I would need to struggle for. During the first year in US, I realize a lot. I face a higher tuition than native students, and I am far away from my family and friends. When I am sad and alone, my family and friends cannot support me. Sometimes I feel that the world is against me. When I read your article, I think about my own situation. My mom and dad spent almost all money to pay my tuition, so I want to study harder, and try to earn money to reduce their pressure. I missed my home. My grandmother passed away last year, and I was unable to stay with my family. It made me so sad. At that time, I really wanted to fly back home, but I knew I had to study well and let my parents happy and be proud of me.
